Astrology and Investing for the Future ........

So.

I have decided to begin the process of looking at the astrology of stock offerings - IPO’s in particular, and businesses in general, here in the US. Specifically, I will be researching companies and their participation, or not in what is happening on a social scale in our country.

The good, the bad and the ugly.

From this research I will then build a file of astrological information on a specific business entity with the intention of discerning whether, or not to invest in that company. It is an experiment in using astrology vs a vie as a tool for sound investing in forward thinking companies. May The Force be with me!

Why? You might ask.

Well, here is the deal – March 23, 2023, Pluto, Lord of Transformation (aka: Death and Rebirth),

will move out of Capricorn, (where it has been gnawing away at our collective consciousness for the past 13 years) – and into Aquarius.

You might recall that ugly thing called the Great Recession, that most of us never recovered from. The Great Recession technically started in December of 2007 – just before Pluto entered Capricorn on January 26, 2008. The rest is economic and social history. But hey – who believes in that anymore…

Capricorn is the energy of accounting, bottom lines, houses, housing, practicality, frugality, infrastructure, patriarchal systems of the good ole boys club – just to name a few qualities.

So, Pluto, Lord of Destruction comes along and pops the housing bubble with a thunderous boom! Tearing up and exposing the deception that had been so cunningly laid within the banking, mortgage, and housing industries. And yet, here we are 13 years later, and housing is even less affordable for the majority of working people in this country. Infrastructure is literally crumbling before our eyes. And the ultra-conservatives of the GOP and the Christian Right has doubled down in their hopes and desperations of maintaining their authority and power at all costs.

AKA – Trumpism.

What a mess!

So.

What happens next? Well – hold onto your hat folks, cause if you thought the last 13 years were a doozy - - - .

The next year and half – probably through January 2023 will bring amplification to all things Aquarius, as this energy attempts to transform the constraints of the last 13 plus years. With yet another 20 months left in the journey of Pluto through Capricorn – we will see even greater resistance to change by the ruling class to maintain the patriarchal, hierarchal status quo. This will only provide more fuel for the coming social revolutions that will rock all world cultures – not just in the USA.

How does this relate to, say infrastructure?

Well, if you have a very conservative and out of control Republican Party in – oh Texas – where the legislators have failed to address the electrical grid deficiencies – and you have Big Oil and Gas lobbying against moving towards sustainable renewable sources and grids to provide electricity for running home heating and cooling systems - - -

Then the residents of Texas will once again suffer, and many will perish in the next ice storm or extreme heat dome. Global warming and science and historical review teaches us that this will happen again – and relatively soon.

At the same time, while Texas Legislators are ignoring the real problems of infrastructure in the state, they are swiftly moving to make abortion literally unavailable to women, while also placing extreme roadblocks to voting for people of color.

In other words – those in power are placing great social constraints on the residents of Texas.

This is also being played out in numerous statehouses across this country. The Grand Ole Party is clinging to power with increasingly desperate and destructive measures.

Enter Aquarius – The Power of Social Rebellion – the quest for personal Freedom.

Aquarius also rules Legislative Bodies - like Congress, the Senate and Parliament.

Aquarius also rules Science, the Internet, modes of mass communication, like TV and radio - and places where people gather to share socially relevant information – like social media.

Aquarius also rules space and travel.

Aquarius also rules electricity – the power grid.

We are already seeing the threads of social rebellion through demonstrations, both peaceful and violent – worldwide. Iranian citizens were out in the streets demanding nothing less than WATER! Yes, water. From Myanmar and the brutal crackdown on citizens dissent to the January 6, 2021, Insurrection by Trump supporters on the US Capital – the seeds of mass uprising have already been sown.

In the past ten days two of the world’s wealthiest men have initiated the pay-for-space flight game for the mega wealthy. Remember – you cannot see desperation and poverty from outer space. The wealth divide could not be more obvious.

So.

With all this back story – what comes next and how can you apply it to investments?

My best guess as a researcher, astrologer and student/professor of social psychology is this:

Just as we needed to invest in Infrastructure over the last 13 years we will need to invest in Socially Responsible – Socially Responsive enterprises and systems for the next 22 years. Really from now until 2044 when Pluto moves into Pisces.

Why now? Because the companies, enterprises and systems that are forward thinking are moving to the front of the line. They are building and looking for investment, energy, and responsible leadership.

Again, my best educated guess is to find and research enterprises that are seeking to address radical change in the power grid - radical change in how we provide affordable housing, education, and health care to the general populace. Income disparity. Baked in Racial inequality – yes, Critical Race Theory. Gender Bias and sexism. Broadband access (ruled by Aquarius). SCIENCE and scientific research, particularly as it relates to the health and well-being of planet Earth and Her inhabitants – from plants to ants to animals, to humans.

So. Keep your eyes peeled for these opportunities to invest in Our Collective Future. And you might want to keep some gold in your sock drawer, and some green cash in your floor vault. A rainy day of social unrest is a comin.

And the Chinese and the Russians love a good internet hack of your local power grid, bank, or gas station.
