In this course you will begin the journey of learning about feminine iconography, history, mythology and meaning of the Power of the Feminine. Astrology will be our tool for this exploration. This course will serve as the introduction to the many courses yet to come in our discovery of The Power of the Feminine as presented through The Vesta Institute.

We will be working from the book, God Herself: The Feminine Roots of Astrology, by Geraldine Thorsten (1980, Double Day & Co., Inc. Garden City, NY) This book is no longer in print, used copies are around, but getting harder to find. Ms. Thorsten approaches astrology from a feminine viewpoint of history, placing Taurus as the first sign of the zodiac instead of Aries. She fills in every sign with research into the various myths of the Goddess, the history, culture, and symbols of astrology, viewed through the lens of the Feminine!

We will review each sign as it is applied to the Sun, Moon and Ascendent of the chart through this lens of Relatedness! You will come away with a new way of looking at yourself, your place in the cosmos and your relationship to yourself and others!

All participants will receive a copy of their natal chart. Q&A will follow the discussion.
