Democracy Challenged ........

As most everyone is aware, Ukraine is being bombed, even as I write. It has been difficult to watch. It is equally difficult to observe it in the astrological charts of Voldemort Putin, the country of Ukraine and also the natal chart of the United States.

Let me clarify one important piece of information... I work from the Natal Chart that is derived from July 6 1775 - the date the Declaration of Causes of the United States was signed and sent off to England. I became aware of this date/chart via the work of Dr. Robert Hand, world renowned astrologer and PhD (https://www.arhatmedia.com/). The Declaration of Causes as explained in (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Declaration_of_the_Causes_and_Necessity_of_Taking_Up_Arms),

was a document detailing why the 13 Colonies had taken up arms in what had become the American Revolutionary War. It is literally a Declaration of Independence from England. It is thus the birth of the colonies as they declared independence from England. This then, in my view, and Robert Hand - IS the birth chart for the United States, aka Democracy.

To that point - in the realm of astrology we are NOT at the beginning of the Pluto Return in the transit chart but about two thirds of the way through it. As with most outer planet transits - there are 3 "hits" to the natal point. We first started to feel the pressure of the Pluto Return in Mid-February 2020 as news of COVID-19 arriving in Seattle, Washington hit the airwaves. This started to fray the edges of our democracy as Trump and Conspiracy Theories ate away at the fabric of trust in our government and health care systems.

The first actual conjunction of Pluto to Pluto did not occur until Feb 17 2021. However, we were in a full meltdown of political norms by then. Trump attempted to unseat the duly elected president of the United States by sending a transfixed mob of rioters to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power - in the largest democracy in the world - on January 6th 2021. The January 6th Insurrection was the second "hit" of this Pluto return.

We are now in the process of our third pass of this transformative action of the Pluto Return. A Life or Death situation wherein the United States is not exactly in the crosshairs of destruction, as they were a year ago - but still challenged to our core as we watch the concepts of Democracy being challenged by Trumps Patron Saint - Vladimir Putin, aka Voldemort/ Lord of Death and Destruction.

Pluto will turn retrograde on April 29, 2022 at 28 degrees of Capricorn, (conjunct Vesta in the natal), turning direct on October 8 , 2022 at 26 degrees Capricorn - just short of being conjunct the Natal Pluto of the US chart (25 degrees, 45 seconds/Capricorn).

Translated: We are by no means out of the woods yet. From now through April we will ALL be dealing with the threat of nuclear war - PUTIN'S WAR. He will attack the West/Democracy, via cyber espionage, dis-information and literal obliteration of anyone or any country that he sees as getting in his way. By fomenting political unrest, Putin and the Putin-wannabe's like Trump, will cling to delusions of grandeur and hopes of being crowned Tsar of Europe. Or in Trump's case, "President for Life", while they try to dismantle Democracy worldwide.

Once Pluto turns retrograde on April 29, 2022 I expect, and hope we will get a chance to reassess what Democracy means to our own country, world order, the human race and our living planet. The literal continuation of the biology of life itself is at risk!

We as a political body and as nations who hold up Democracy as a way of life - will continue to be tested well into March of 2023. At this point, Pluto, Lord of Death and Rebirth will move into Aquarius where the Revolutionary Powers that propelled the United States to unite against the tyranny of King George III, - will once again rise up to unite against the dictators of the world who would demand subjection, loyalty and death from those under their power. The American Revolution / fight for Democracy gathered steam with the entrance of Pluto into Aquarius in 1777 and did not end until 1783 - 8 years after the Declaration of Causes was signed.

In closing - - - We must all take up the COURAGE and TENACITY that the Ukrainian people are proudly showing. For as Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine has stated, "If We (Ukraine) fall, all of Europe will Fall." This is a moment in time where we must unite against the tyrannical rule of evil that President Putin of Russia has thrust upon the entire world.

Democracy must be fought for and held precious, as it represents Truth and the Freedom to choose one's destiny for individuals, countries and a world of living creatures.
